The Beginner’s Bible KJV is produced by Zonderkidz. The Illustrations are by Denis Alonso. This Bible is designed for kids ages 6-10. It has some nice features. The cover is very kid friendly. It is a hardcover Bible. It comes with a page in the front of the Bible that you can write who the Bible is for and who it was from. It is the King James Version. The print is large so it easy for new readers to follow along and read. The Bible has 20 color illustrations that are spread throughout the Bible. The pictures are Bible illustrations. There is a picture of Noah, Adam and Eve, Jesus has risen, Jonah, Jesus as a boy in the temple and more. There is also a concordance. The words of Christ are in red. It also has introductions to the books.

My only complaint is that the introductions to the books are more advanced. My 10 year old would not understand what they are saying. Besides that, I like that the book has the larger print. The illustrations are nice and help break it up for kids and make it a little more exciting. The pages are very thin so if your child is rough wait till they are a little older to buy this Bible.  The references are at the end of the Bible verse which is different for me. I like this Bible mainly because it is geared towards children but it is simply a King James Version. It seems to be hard to find KJV Bibles for children. This Bible has no devotions in it. It is simply a Bible with some illustrations. I think its a good Bible for children and I am saving mine for when my 3 year old starts reading.

I was given a copy of this book from the booklookbloggers.com program for my honest review.
